Shalom everyone,

I recently received a very moving enquiry from someone who asked a very profound question. Without going into personal details (to maintain the anonymity of the enquirer), he basically said that he had lived a terrible and self-destructive life until his conversion experience, when he called out to Jesus and experienced a washing-over of the pure love of Jesus.

His life then had a complete turn-around and a total improvement once he accepted the love and salvation of ‘Christ’. For him, this proved Christianity was true and real. The implication was that, accepting the Talmidi belief that ‘Jesus’ was only a human being, would mean having to reject the spiritual experience which made such a huge difference in his life.

I’d therefore like to share with you a part of what I wrote in reply, because it is important to understand:

“I bless God and give thanks to God for your truly wondrous experience; I believe your experience was real, and I thank you for sharing it with me, it was very beautiful.

YHVH is the God of all nations, all peoples and all religions, and does not withhold salvation or blessings from any human being just because of their religion, or what god they call out to. YHVH is a loving, gracious and compassionate God, who loves any and every human being, regardless of their religion, who turns back to God’s good ways and changes their lives.”

Now, I personally have heard stories of people of many different religions who have experienced the same kind of washing-over of pure love, the complete turnaround in their lives, and even some that were accompanied by miracles, and they were not even Christian. I have heard the same amazing stories from Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, and so on; I have no reason to doubt any of them.

I personally believe that these experiences happen because Yahveh – the One God of True and Perfect Love – will not withhold merciful love or gracious blessings from anyone who needs spiritual salvation; Yahveh’s loving salvation is open to people of all religions, no matter their personal faith, and no matter the name of the god they call out to. Yahveh will even give someone a miracle, if that is what it will take to turn the life around of someone in dire straits.

Miracles and heavenly experiences do not prove a particular belief or specific religion; to me, they prove that Yahveh has a perfect love for all God’s daughters and sons in need, regardless of what they personally believe.

peace and blessings to you all, in the perfect love of Yahveh our God

your brother, a willing servant of God
